God's way

When you have exhausted all your ways, when you have used all your resources, when you have stumbled across a new journey which is dim, isolated and full of thorns; you may be hopeless, but remember, there is always His way. He has purposefully closed all doors and made them difficult to lead you to the best place. A place full of blessings, love, humility, and guidance. That place is the moment you turned with abundant worship of Him. You tried all you could, you failed in your ways, yet He allowed you to go to Him. This journey is your purpose. This is your goal. Throughout our lives, we will embark on many journeys. Some will be short-lived, and others will be long and difficult. These journeys will define us. A journey that will not only define us, but will lay out a blueprint for our lives. Throughout our lives we will never forget this moment which led us to our current success.

What is this moment? You may see it as hardship, others may see it as waste, some will mock at the simplicity of it, yet God put you in that very moment, because He knew without that moment, you would not be successful. That moment is your face in the floor praising and seeking God's help. Yes, every time God prepares us for greatness, He allows us to go through a process of refinement. The process starts by understanding God. A process that starts with prostration and that continues with striving.

Through perseverance and failure, we become frustrated, our patience is tested, our ways are exhausted, but we continue pushing forward hoping God will make a way. We pray and pray some more. We continue this journey for days, years, decades and more, but we never stop. Why do we keep going? Could it be our hopes for success. Or maybe our lack of power and knowledge. Whatever it is, it is His way.

You see, God was silent all along. He taught you perseverance. He beautified your character. He allowed you to strive so others could strive with you. He made you beautiful so others can look up to you. When you have grown to the person God wants you to be, you will see that the journey is a fraction of your success. Why? Because the journey was a step to greatness, while the striving was continuous greatness. You changed the world in ways you never envisioned.

So, don't be hopeless because your prayers are not answered. God knows what you do not know. When He sees fit, He says 'YES'. When he sees opportunity he says 'WAIT'. But when He sees blessings He remains 'SILENT'. What about when God says 'NO'? That is when God wants you to take a leap for something greater.

Two women were brought before King Solomon. Both these women had a quarrel over a single baby. Each woman was saying that she was the baby's mother.

One lady said, "Oh King! I am the baby's mother". The other lady said, "Oh King! Believe her not. She is not the mother. I am the mother of the child".

Seek protection from Allah

We ask the protection of Allah from the condition of those who will be cast in the hellfire.

"Remember when Ayoub (Job) called out to Allah?" He owned much (wealth) and many children, good health, and Allah s.w.t blessed him with many blessings. Yet, Allah tested Ayoub if he was a true believer, and took away the wealth, then Allah took back his offspring. Allah took one of his children and continued taking away from Ayub. But still Ayoub remained thankful and passed the test. He still worshiped Allah even when his wealth and offspring were gone. And Allah took his health away.

The bottom line is: Ayoub still was upset. He asked his wife "How long it will last?," as the disease that he was stricken with was truly very bad, but Ayoub still worshiped Allah, and his patience made him pass the test of Allah. The story of Ayoub is a very good example amongst us.

Let us be contented what Allah ordained for us in good and in bad. Worship Him unconditionally. Remember do not under estimate the mercy of Allah. He is the most forgiving, the Most merciful. [not an hadith, a reminder for myself and foremost]

Don't be a Silent Reader

I often wonder about silent readers. I wonder who you are, what you do, why you read my blog.

I wonder because I am what you would call an 

“I’m reading your blog and you will know it” reader. 

Why? I'm not entirely sure. I do know that I love to engage with a blogger that I feel has something in common with me. But then again, there are also bloggers that I follow that I have nothing in common with, but I enjoy the way they write, take pictures, dress, etc.

I’m serious, every blog that I have ever followed has at least one comment from me. It is my way of letting that blogger know that I follow them because I enjoy their blog. But I also notice that when I leave several comments and get no interaction back, I become a silent reader. 

So I wonder if some of my silent readers feel/felt that I have not made an effort in interacting with them when they made an attempt to interact with me. Or maybe some people do not like to join the conversation because they do not feel they have anything extra to add. 

Or maybe the whole 

"if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all" 

is working in my favour  

Let’s hope that is not the case ;).

Hari ini alhamdulillah gue dapet pencerahan sedikit tentang hijab. hari ini gue tau betapa pentingnya bagi seorang wanita untuk menutup seluruh auratnya. gue pun sadar gue masih belum 100% seorang muslimah. walaupun gue udah pake kerudung tapi pakaian gue masih ngetat. jeans masih ngetat lah, kerudung ga sampe ke dada. memang sih gue belum lama pake kerudung, tapi insyaallah gue mau mulai dari hal hal yang kecil dulu. ya istilahnya bertahap lah gitu. Hari ini juga gue inget akan dosa dosa gue terlebih tentang yang mengumbar aurat kita kepada lelaki. rasanya itu malu dan takut akan dosa itu. gue cuma berdoa sama Allah, semoga dosa dosa gue dapat di ampuni, karena gue yakin dan percaya kalo Allah itu maha pemurah dan penyayang. Alangkah malang nya bagi para wanita muslim yang belum berkerudung. banyak yang bilang mungkin dulu gue termasuk hehe.. gini, ah kerudungin dulu hatinya baru luarnya. nah, kalo hati nya belum terkerudungi lalu apakah dia harus menunggu sampe hatinya terkerudungi sampe sampe dosanya berjubel? gak kan? jadi siap ga siap pakai kerudung itu wajib. kalo dipikir pikir, jika kita memakai jilbab kita pasti akan merasa malu pada diri sendiri, jilbab dan tentunya pada Allah jika kita melakukan hal yang buruk. jadi ayolah girls, in hijab noww!!!!

ah elah baru aja laptop gue balik udah kena virus trojan aja -,- bagi yang tau tentang virus ini harus extra waspada deh soalnya kalo sampe laptop atau pc kita terjangkit si trojan ini beuh entar pc kita bisa loh di kontrol sama orang lain dari komputer yang berbeda. ya semacam hacker kali yah. sebenarnya trojan itu bukan virus tapi jenis dari virus. gue sih ga tau banyak tentang trojan tapi setau gue trojan itu sangat membahayakan dan dia mempunya banyak sekat masuk ke dalam komputer. walaupun kita sering mengupdate laptop atau komputer kita tetap aja trojan bisa masuk di banyak celah. dari mulai internetan, install free software yang ga dari situs aslinya, dari falsdisk lah dll. laptop gue baru beres di install ulang soalnya di duga gara gara software yang gue dapet dari kampus. kenapa gue bilang gitu soalnya banyak temen gue jga yang kena!! ya pokoknya kita harus lebih hati hati aja kalo auinstall atau download download.
